Multivalent Batteries

We strive to characterise organic batteries to help target optimal structures for high performing electrodes in different battery chemistries.

The aluminium anode interface is key to progressing rechargeable aluminium battery research, particularly in aqueous systems.

Our group has done work to pursue the uncover the details of Aluminium-chalcogen energy storage.

Using additives can improve the performance of lithium metal batteries. We seek to understand the chemical species leading to this improvement.

We aim to develop and utilise state-of-the-art NMR techiques for the analysis of energy storage materials.
